Host Live DJ Radio by using Shoutcast and Virtual DJ!

This tutorial show you "How To Host Radio by using Shoutcast and Virtual DJ!"

Installation Steps (For Hosting Live DJ):

1. Download and Install following things in its default directory:
      Virtual DJ Software can be download from http://www.virtualdj.com/,
      Shoutcast DNAS can be download from here, (use Winrar Software for extract file)



2. Open Virtual DJ Software.

3. Drag & drop songs in it.

4. Now got to RECORD then Bradcast & then Config as shown in following image.

5. Now setting as shown in following image.

     Server : localhost
     Port : 8000
     Name : VirtualDJ  (Put any name which you want.)
     Password : 1234 (Put any password which you want but keep it in mind.)
     Genre : DJ (Put any type which you want e.g.Trance, Classic, Electro or any other)

6. Now run Edit SHOUTcast DNAS configuration from Start>Programs>SHOUTcast DNAS as shown in following image.

7. Now window will open as shown in following image. Put your password which i was tell you to keep in mind(for password check step 5.). After putting your password save it & close it.

8. Now run SHOUTcast DNAS (GUI) from Start>Programs>SHOUTcast DNAS as show in following image.

9. Now window will open as shown in following image.

10. Now come back in Virtual DJ in that start playing song & click on START RECORDING as shown in following image.

11. If you see the status like shown in following image then Virtual DJ is successful to send data in SHOUTcast.

12. Now find your ip address. Check out following tow ways.
      1) For unlimited data plan users. See below image & search on google What is my ip?

      2) For both type of user (data plan users & unlimited data plan user). See the below image & type in main chat !myip

13. Now as shown in following image copy your ip & paste it in new browser tab put a port in front of the ip address see below image. (To know about your port check step 5.)

14. Now as shown in following image copy link by right clicking on Listen menu.

15. Now as shown in following image announce your radio with copied link in your style.

[Don't announce your ip within 30 seconds of server start. Because sometimes it take time for buffering & so client side there will be no music for starting 30 second. So announce your ip after 30 seconds.]

16. After some time you will see some people are joined & enjoying your Live DJ Radio station.
Do proper mixing in songs for your client else they may left your dj radio station.

Steps for setting up client for listen Radio:

1. For Winamp users go to File>Play URL or press Ctrl+L for url menu then another window will open in that put that ip & click on Open as shown in following image.

2. For VLC users go to Media>Open Network Stram or press Ctrl+N for url menu then another window will open in that put that ip & click on Play as shown in following image.
